Manifesto: Working for a better Brexit

News June 11, 2020

As Building Magazine showcases their #BuildingBrexit campaign for the industry to have their say, we speak with our Managing Partner Rennie Dalrymple on his thoughts on the manifesto.

The Building a Better Brexit campaign was launched by Building Magazine in January of this year to highlight the needs of the construction industry and the changes that should be made in order to work within a better Brexit deal.

The manifesto is made up of 8 points drawn from the conclusion of over 2,000 construction professionals, as they were asked what could be done to make the EU work better for them.

Rennie Dalrymple, Managing Partner of Concert states:

“Building’s Manifesto contains several key initiatives that will assist in ensuring a robust construction sector in a post Brexit economy. The construction industry is a hugely important contributor to the UK economy in terms of GDP out put and employment.

Concert supports the Building a Better Brexit Manifesto. Working together we can strive to promote the sector to high priority status while ensuring we have the future talent the industry needs.

Promotion of these initiatives supports in delivering the governments aspirations on housing and infrastructure to the benefit of the whole economy.”
