What does a typical workday look like?
Any one day can look quite different – my role entails looking after all people matters starting from the recruitment and onboarding process, to then meeting the businesses needs by managing the employee lifecycle. This can include managing employee benefits, training and development and employee wellbeing.
What is the most rewarding part of your role?
Helping to shape the people agenda and recommending new policies and ideas and seeing them put into practise.
What is the best piece of industry advice you’ve been given?
Always do your job seriously but don’t take yourself too seriously!!
What is your favourite hobby/ personal interest?
At the moment training our new puppy and trying to bake the perfect soft pretzel!!
What are your goals for 2023?
To continue to help the business evolve during these changing times and in my personal life to try and spend more quality time with my family.
