The project involved the development of an existing brownfield site to a Data Centre campus, including a 56,000 sq m 5 storey Data Centre building with stand-alone 4 storey Medium Voltage (MV) Energy Centres and a High Voltage (66kV to 11kV) electrical Substation to handle the voltage conversion from the National Grid for distribution and use onsite.
The campus will benefit from a biodiverse roofing and walling systems combined with roof mounted photovoltaic panels. In addition the development will include improvements to the tow path of the Grand Union Canal.
